Welcome to California EMS Education and Training (CEMSET), your complete source for emergency medical care education for individuals, parents, childcare providers, security personnel, firefighters, law enforcement officers, and healthcare professionals. California EMS Education and Training can come to you, helping you to obtain initial or re-certification education and training.

CEMSET currently offers American Heart Association (AHA) courses in Bloodborne Pathogens, Airway Management, and ECG & Pharmacology (a great ACLS "prep" courses that offer EMS CE credit. The instructor (and Program Director of CEMSET) holds current AHA instructor credentials in BLS, ACLS, and PALS disciplines. The Emergency Care & Safety Institute (ECSI) provides first aid, CPR, AED, Health Care Provider CPR, and eACLS courses, all equivalent to American Heart Association courses accepted by most all agencies (including the Inland County Emergency Medical Agency, or "ICEMA") and employers requiring such training. Courses are compliant with the latest ILCOR Guidelines for CPR and ECC. ECSI also offers a plethora of other courses such as Oxygen Administration, Bloodborne and Airborne Pathogens, Babysitter Lessons and Safety Training (BLAST!), Pediatric First Aid for Caregivers and Teachers (PedFACTs, which includes California EMS Authority First Aid and CPR approval stickers), Pet First Aid and Disaster Response, Wilderness First Aid (endorsed by the Wilderness Medical Society), Emergency Medical Responder (EMR), among other courses.

The Emergency Care & Safety Institute exists under the umbrella of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) and the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP), and is partnered with one of the most established and respected publishers in the emergency medical textbook industry, Jones & Bartlett Learning.

ECSI provides training that leads to certifications that meet job-related reuirements as defined by regulatory authorities such as OSHA, The Joint Commission, and state offices of EMS, Education, and Health. The National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) and the Continuing Education Coordinating Board for Emergency Medical Services (CECBEMS) have approved the Health Care Provider CPR and Advanced Cardiac Life Support courses for both certification and recertification purposes.
